Evirgen

was born in Istanbul and lives in Vienna. He works as a classical composer, electronic music producer/performer and Dj. Hüseyin studied composition and electro-acoustic music at the ‘University of Istanbul’ and the ‘University Mozarteum Salzburg’. Hüseyin's sound is set in the field of minimal and experimental techno and is characterized by subtle compositions and a driving flow, making your legs shake on the dancefloor, as well as keeping your head nodding in your living room. His very precisely programmed tracks tell of his insight into the functionality of music and the syntax of sounds. Hüseyin can be found performing his live-set and dj-ing on a regular basis around austria, playing at various venues in vienna such as flex, club u, fluc, donau or the arge salzburg and the kunsthaus graz. His first release is out in December 2007, and will be available on 12" vinyl and mp3 for download.

 

Raffael Francis & Carmen Lazaro

Raffael digs into various styles of sound, always keeping his personal flavour alive. He started messing around with music production software in early years, developing his unique style over time. Having a rather intuitive approach to producing, his compositions are still programmed very carefully, mainly consisting of warm and harmonic melodies, fused with intelligent and often complex beats, creating his own universe. Working together with various musicians and singer-songwriters, Raffael Francis' spectrum of musical styles is amazingly broad.

Specializing on his collaboration with the spanish singer/songwriter Carmen Lazaro (also known as chinese conspiracy), aber records is proud to release their first album in april 2008. Categorized somewhere between cosy minimalism, creamy dopetempo and lush freejazz - Raffael's beats and intricate programming meet Carmen's incredible voice and melodies. The result allready caught a lot of peoples' attention and will appear on CD and mp3 for download. Watch out!

Fyrd

can hardly be stereotyped, moving along the vast borders of hip hop, jazz, idm and jungle. Being recognized as one of Austria's most upcoming producers, Fyrd can be found performing his live-set in various venues around Austria and Europe. His gigs have inherently developed to be known and told like an urban legend. Using his amazing finger-skills, lunatic knob-twiddling and futuristic synth-tweaking, Dorian drags the audience into his magical spell! His complex broken beat structures will have you bouncing and shaking, if you can take it at all! We are very proud to have him in our rows and release new stuff in 2008! Watch Out!
